week 5

we had lots of excitement this week. my aunt monica and aunt claudia came by to see me (sorry we didn't get a picture aunt claudia...next time).

i went to the pediatrician and weighed in at 10 pounds 5 ounces!!! no wonder mommy complains of her arms falling alseep when i lay on them too long.

we had really nice weather (in the 60s) a couple days this week, so mom and i went for a stroll around the neighborhood.

i had fun looking at all the trees, birds, and i even saw a doggie or two. but the ride was very bumpy...the snap n' go needs new shocks :o).

my mom went out and bought me a bouncie seat since my human bouncie (AKA mimaw) had to go back home. this one is ok, but fisher price really should take notes from mimaw and make a bouncie that hums nice lullabies in your ear while you rock. there's dad again (my hero) putting it together...what would i do without him?

my mom finally agreed that i look like dad in this picture. don't i look like such a big boy? mom had to hurry up and snap the picture because i was starting to fall over. i'm not that big yet.

my mom cracks me up sometimes. i'm starting to smile more and more, and she was actually able to catch me.

this week was filled with another first...my first bottle. and mom was worried i might not take it. as long as it had the good stuff coming out, bring it on. i was a little confused at first...dad...milk...it didn't quite add up, but i caught on pretty quickly and downed a couple ounces.
