week 10

here's me and my mom hanging out in the glider. i just ate, so i'm feeling quite cheery.

so i went to see dr. soppas on monday and lemme tell you...immunizations are NO fun! i got 5 shots in my poor little legs and one i had to drink...and mom just sat there and let the nurse do it. what's up with that? nevertheless...i've recovered and i'm back to my shiny, happy self.

they weighed and measured me at the doctor's office and i weighed in at......

12 pounds 15 ounces and 23 inches long!

i know my birth stats say i was 21 inches long, but the length is a little suspect. when i got measured at the doctors office (on a length board) when i was 4 days old, i was 19 inches. mom assured me that even though i did lose weight, i was NOT shrinking. so i figure i was 19 inches when i came out and now i've grown 4 inches in the last 2 months...and i've packed on over 4 pounds (as you can see).

on valentine's day i had a play date with my pal mia. yeah, she's twice my age...and nobody better mess with her. i was mesmerized by her tights.

i was pretty pooped after my play date...i didn't even make it upstairs to my bed...

i'm feeling quite refreshed today and as my bib says, "cute as a button"...
