week 9

this week is a little skimpy on the pix, but it wasn't skimpy on activity. maybe the two are negatively correlated...pretty smart for a little guy hunh? well, that's because i spent a lot of time at Penn this week. my mom had to give a lecture monday morning on normal newborns (oh the irony), so i hung out with my aunties amy and sharon... and auntie suzanne stopped by to see me too.

then mommy had here TEP (teacher education program) from wednesday to sunday where she is learning how to be a good classroom and clinical teacher. i learned more than i ever wanted to know about writing proper objectives and the difference between classroom teaching and clinical teaching...whew makes my head hurt just thinking about it all again.

i hung out with dad wednesday night while mom was in class. this was the first time we got to hang out at home...just the 2 of us...since i was about 2 weeks old. we had a blast! mom called after her class to check on us and dad let her know that i was already in bed asleep. he even managed to cook dinner and give me a sponge bath too. way to go pop!

i went to class with mom thursday and friday and everyone commented on what a good baby i was. someone even asked my mom if i cry...little does she know...

i hung out with dad again all afternoon on saturday. we went to lowe's, best buy, pier 1, and wal-mart. i can't really tell you more than that because i was asleep the entire time (i decided to go easy on my old man). when i did wake up, dad fed me at penn's landing and i had a great time looking out the window at the water and the ships. he was pretty cool...i think we should hang out every saturday (mom told me to say that).

i turned 2 months on saturday the 9th...my how time flies. i've got a dr's appointment on monday and i keep hearing something about immunizations...so i'll let you know how that goes.
