if you're better and you know it, clap your hands...clap clap!

yes, many thanks to all of you who prayed for me, thought about me, or called and asked about me!!! i think it was all of this that aided in my super speedy recovery. i must've had a really mild case because i never got a fever or diarrhea or had sores in my mouth (so i guess technically all i really had was hand and foot disease???). thanks again for all the love :o)
just to show that yes, dad and i do take pictures outside of the kitchen
hey, that tickles
mom was trying (emphasis on trying) to get a picture of some of my spots, but it didn't really turn out so good, and i wouldn't advise looking at this too long because it makes my head start to hurt. maybe if you close one eye and squint the other one you can see one of the 4 or 5 small red dots on my foot...maybe.
here i am back to my old smiling, drooling self
since i have now completely mastered the art of the play mat, i needed to challenge myself, so i now do it blindfolded...yes, i'm sure you stand in awe, but it can be done.
the weather's feelin' fine and mom and i are headed out to run errands...
she had to buy me a hat to protect my precious little skin from the sun...maybe if i drop some hints i can get some sunscreen too, preferably SPF 30 or higher ;o)

hey, this sitting up thing is a lot harder than it looks...
friday mom and i went to check out our first day care center, kindercare...we've got to do our research before we make any hasty decisions. everybody seemed really nice and i was impressed with the motif and decorative work done by (very local) young artists on display everywhere...we'll keep you posted as our search continues. truthfully though, i don't think mommy wants to let me go, but don't tell her i told you.

this is my dad (not the shiny bald head...that's bro. john, and no he wasn't sleeping) in his clean white suit (i had to promise not to spit up on it). he was the emcee at the african heritage program at church (see, black history events don't just happen in february). he was sooo funny, now i see where i get my "hammin' it up" genes from. he had the crowd in stitches...maybe one day when i grow up i'll enjoy public speaking too, hmmm.
saturday was a sad day too, i guess mom felt so bad that i was sick...she decided to get sick too. she's been fighting off some sorta flu bug going around...sore throat...chills, etc...but no fever. thank God she passes her antibodies on to me through my milk...i don't want any part of that stuff. i've had enough 'virus' to last me for a while.
here's hoping this post finds you all in good health and enjoying the spring weather! love you guys!!!
