so we made it back from portland safely (thanks for all the prayers), so now i can post the pix i was trying to post before we left...now where was i? oh yeah...new stuff...
so i finally got to upgrade and mom bought me a REAL stroller...one where i can actually see where i'm going...woohoo...can you tell i'm diggin' it?
as i approach the upper weight/height limits of my infant seat, mom thought it might be a good idea to go ahead and invest in a new carseat too...
but as i was informed...this is not how to sit in it. actually mom and i had a long talk about this. i was really looking forward to turning to face the front once i hit a year old (i'm sure i'll be 20lbs by then), but mom informed me that just because i can do something doesn't always mean i should (what!?!). she learned that i should actually remain rear facing as long as i can because that's the safest position for me. my little neck wouldn't be able to sustain the impact of a crash (God-forbid we have one)as well. since she's always reading about these things, i decided to take her word for it...after all she is my mom. but if you wanna read some more about it you can check out this website or even the american academy of pediatics website. way to go mom...lookin' out for the little people.
i also got a new gadget that lets me eat fresh fruits and veggies (and other stuff) without mom having to worry about me choking...eating = good...choking = bad...

then mom surprised me with another stroller...all 3 of us took it for a spin (well, technically i was the only one riding in it...although dad was tempted to climb in) around the neighborhood and to rita's for ice cream
between opening new things, mom and i went to take a look at 3 day care centers this week, and after much deliberation (and prayer), we decided on play & learn. i really liked it, it was bright and cheery and the kids were all having so much fun. i will start when we get back from texas...mom is going to ease both of us into it by sending me 3 days a week...i think she'll probably have a tougher time adjusting than i will. but she's gotta get some work done so she can get outta school some time in the near future. stay tuned for pix from my west coast escapade...
